The Dream:
I had a dream I was walking through a mall and came across a particular store that caught my attention. This store had a really cool new tech device that looked like a smart camera. It was vibrant red in color, and there was an entire wall of them on display.
The man who owned the store was kind. He appeared to be Indian or Pakistani and wore a turban. I couldn’t place exactly where he was from, but I didn’t feel afraid of him. In fact, I felt drawn in. He noticed how fascinated I was by the devices and told me to come back later—he would give me three for free. I didn’t know if I should believe him. I thought maybe he was joking, or that he says that to everyone to draw in customers. Still, I wasn’t afraid. I just doubted it was true.
Later in the day, I decided to return. I figured if he remembers me, then maybe it was real. I walked in while he was helping another customer. He looked up, saw me, and smiled. He said, “One moment,” then went into the back room. He returned and quietly handed me something—almost like a secret.
It wasn’t the devices. Instead, he handed me a full cheque book.
In the dream, I walked away holding it, a bit confused. Why would he give me this? But somehow I didn’t feel scammed. I felt lucky. It was as if he recognized something in me, and had been waiting for me to return so he could give me this. I woke up feeling at peace. It felt very real.
Interpretation: A Message of Hidden Power and Recognition
This dream felt different. Vivid, layered, and meaningful. As I sat with it, here’s what unfolded for me:
🌌 The Mall: The Marketplace of Life
The mall reminded me of the world we live in—full of options, distractions, shiny things calling for our attention. But I wasn’t aimlessly wandering. I was drawn to something. That, to me, symbolizes that I’m entering a phase of deeper clarity about what truly lights me up.
🔴 The Red Smart Camera
The red camera stood out. Red felt symbolic of the root chakra—power, stability, life force. The camera? That felt like vision—perhaps a new way of seeing, recording, or sharing truth.
It struck me that I may be drawn to something that looks like a “tool,” but in reality, it reflects an inner gift I’m awakening to—whether that’s storytelling, intuition, or spiritual perception.
🧔🏽♂️ The Man in the Turban
This man didn’t feel like just a shopkeeper. He felt like a guide—kind, grounded, and somehow knowing. His turban, in many traditions, symbolizes wisdom. I felt he represented a spiritual messenger or higher presence that recognized something in me—something I didn’t even fully see in myself.
❓ Doubt, Then Return
This part hit me the most: how I initially doubted, and yet returned. How often do we receive a nudge or offer, and walk away thinking, that can’t be real? Yet something in me did believe. And that return was met with more than I expected.
📄 The Cheque Book
When I opened my hand and saw the cheque book, not the tech gadget, it was clear: I wasn’t being handed a toy—I was being handed trust. Creation. Resources.
The cheque book meant: You don’t need the shiny object. You have the power to write your own value. It was such a profound and quiet form of empowerment.
🌱 Big Picture Message
I came for a red gadget. I left with something that let me buy many—or create them myself.
This dream told me:
- I am being offered creative power, not just material gifts
- I am seen by unseen forces—recognized for something deeper
- I’m not meant to consume. I’m meant to create
🌠 Closing Thought
This wasn’t just a dream. It felt like a transmission.
I’m no longer here to chase. I’m here to write, receive, and create.
And maybe—just maybe—the cheque book was never about money. It was about remembering that I already hold the pen.
💤 Final Note: Learning to Interpret Your Own Dreams
When you are trying to interpret dreams, you must learn to be patient with yourself. Some dreams are not made to be remembered. And some stand out and leave you questioning what they mean. Those are meant to show you something—but not always for the same reason.
Your reality can influence your dream, or you may receive future insights through them. I understand that this may not be the case for everyone. However, I do believe everyone can learn to interpret their dreams. Dreams are a way of deciphering codes. Each dream is unique to each person. The messages can vary, even when symbols appear similar.
If you are trying to interpret your dreams, here are some things to take note of:
- When you went to sleep, how did you feel? What emotion were you carrying—sad, happy, peaceful, neutral, or angry?
- Did you remember falling asleep?
- When you had that specific dream, did you immediately wake up after it?
- Remember how you felt during the dream—describe your emotions.
- Try to pinpoint as much detail as you can. How was the mood? Did you recognize anyone? Was it daytime or nighttime? What colors stood out? Where were you?
These details matter. They are symbolic keys to interpretation, and they are relevant to your personal life. Your dreams help unfold a story written just for you.
It’s like reading a book: you notice details, connect events, and begin to predict outcomes. The same applies to dreams. They are not just night stories. They are messages, memories, and mirrors—waiting to be understood.
