THE DREAM:
Last night, I had a dream about water — and not just any water, but the worst water I’ve ever seen in my dream life. Garbage everywhere. Thick. Cloudy. Toxic. I was swimming in it, panicking, trying to reach this tiny bushy island that I could barely get up to. Two men were standing in a nearby cottage, watching, unable (or unwilling) to help me.
And yet — when I woke up, I wasn’t panicked.
That’s how I knew this dream wasn’t about fear.
I’ve learned to track water dreams.
For me, they are spiritual markers. Portals. Every time I dream of water, I pay attention. Because what shows up in the dream usually reflects what will unfold over the next three months. And for the most part, these dreams have proven to be accurate.
- Clear water = clear mind, smoother path
- Dark water = emotional heaviness, old debt, energetic purging
- Rough water = resistance or transition
So when I woke up from swimming in a garbage-filled lake, I paused — and then I smiled.
Because I wasn’t scared. I wasn’t stuck. I was simply witnessing the final residue of something that has already been clearing.
The dream didn’t scare me because I’ve already detached.
What I saw in the water wasn’t mine anymore.
It may have been what I was once in, what I was once holding on to — emotional debt, old financial patterns, relationships that left residue.
But I’ve been releasing. I’ve been surrendering. And the moment I woke up and realized, “Wow, that water was gross… and I’m not afraid anymore,” I understood:
This wasn’t a warning. It was a timestamp of completion.
What I’m taking from this:
- Not all emotional chaos is yours to hold
- Dreams can be forecasts, not fears
- Just because you’re swimming in something doesn’t mean you’re of it
- The island represents a new version of me I’m climbing toward — and I’m close
Sometimes your soul sends you a dream not to scare you, but to show you that you’ve outgrown your fear.
Even dirty water can be a blessing — if you’re no longer drowning in it.
