DREAM STORIES & INTERPRETATIONS
Digital Journal Series – Entry #4
The Dream
I found myself on a crowded beach, the shoreline lined with people as if they were watching an event. The ocean waves towered above us, enormous swells reaching 10–15 feet high. I wasn’t a spectator; I was in the water, facing the crowd of men who stood opposite me, as though this were a challenge or a competition.
Each wave rose up with immense power, and the men braced themselves, trying to prove their strength. When the waves crashed, they were swept under, clothes torn, looking defeated as they resurfaced. But each time a wave came toward me, I stood at the right side of it—where the swell seemed to break or soften—and the force never took me under. Instead, it passed me by. I felt lucky, almost protected.
Rather than fear, I felt awe. The waves felt like my companions—majestic, powerful, yet oddly tender, like the affection someone feels for a beloved animal. There was joy in my heart, not resistance. I knew these waves weren’t here to destroy me, but to show me something about strength, timing, and protection.
Three massive waves came and went, sweeping others under, but leaving me untouched. At the end of the dream, my brother entered the water. True to our lifelong competitive edge, he wanted to test himself against the waves too. Yet when the swell rose over him, it pulled him under. I couldn’t believe it.
What struck me most was that throughout the entire dream, the scene never changed. I wasn’t moving or shifting landscapes as I often do in other dreams. I remained in the same place, standing in the water, meeting the waves face to face.
My Interpretation
This dream felt like a direct message about energy, growth, and resilience. Water dreams have always been markers for me—symbols of change and new growth that unfold within three months of the dream itself. This one, more than most, carried the vibration of a frequency shift already underway.
- The Waves: Immense collective forces, surges of transformation, and the divine feminine energy of flow and power. The fact that I was not taken under shows that I am aligned with these changes, protected rather than consumed.
- The Crowd of Men: Competition, proving strength, masculine-coded dynamics. Their struggle contrasted with my stillness and protection.
- My Brother: A mirror of old competitive family patterns. His being taken by the wave symbolizes that those dynamics no longer define me—I don’t need to compete to prove my strength.
- Stationary Scene: Unlike other dreams where I move through different settings, this one remained in a single scene. To me, this means I’ll remain grounded where I am in waking life for the next season, while the shifts take shape around me.
- Emotional Tone: Joy, awe, and companionship with the waves. The dream wasn’t about survival; it was about trust and recognition of a greater force at play.
Lessons & Takeaways
- Not every wave is meant to knock you down. Some are companions, arriving to show you how to stand in your strength.
- When the collective is tested, your alignment can place you in a protected current.
- Old patterns of competition (even within family) are being washed away.
- Stillness itself is a form of strength—you don’t have to move or fight to prove your place.
3-Month Outlook
As with my other water dreams, I believe the next three months will reveal:
- A visible, perhaps public, shift in energy or community dynamics.
- A release or transformation of family/competitive patterns.
- A greater sense of alignment and protection as I prepare to build something larger from where I currently stand.
✨ This dream marks another chapter in my ongoing Dreams & Interpretations Journal—a reminder that waves, no matter how powerful, are not always here to drown us. Sometimes they are here to carry us into joy, awe, and trust.
